You Were Here | Wish You Were Here
Rachel Loh
“You Were Here | Wish You Were Here” explores the relationship between my father who has to work overseas and I. Often when a parent has to work abroad, they do not have much choice which has led to an absence of a father figure during
my childhood.
Photographs shown are of personal archive and was presented in an artist book. It narrates a story from two perspectives of distance between my father who had to adjust quickly to living in a foreign country as well as the feeling of longing I felt as a child.
